　　 今天小编要分享英语口语，就只有一个单词period。肯定马上就有小可爱举手说，我知道，是“一段时期”的意思。错是没有错，但是没有这么简单啦。
　　Period I
　　女孩子每个月总有那么几天，可能情绪低落状态不好，不想上学不想上班，甚至什么都不想做。而这段特殊时期，就叫做period。
　　 I'm on my periods. I don't want to do anything. 我特殊时期，什么也不想干。不过，这并不是我们今天要说的重点。
　　Period II
　　period还可以表示“句号”，口语中用来强调“就这样”“我说完了”“没什么可更改的”。 -You want to marry her? Are you crazy?
　　你打算娶她？你疯了吗？-She is the woman who I want to spend the rest of my life with, period!
　　她是那个我想与之度过余生的女人，就这样！

　　这里面的with是不可以省略的，spend the rest of my life with the woman，但是位置比较随意，在定语从句中，可以放在后面，也可以放到前面。于是，这句话就可以变成：
　　She is the woman with whom I want to spend the rest of my life, period!
　　This is the “period”, period!
