    2009年5月7日是我市“防灾减灾日”系列活动启动仪式，在市文化广场隆重举行。东莞市美容美发培训学校服务队与北隅、细村社区共30人参加志愿活动，“针对公共安全、突发事件、应急救援、卫生防疫、自救互救、转移安置”等内容，向市民免费派发防灾减灾宣传资料和现场解答有关防灾的知识。同时现场演习形式多样的各类防灾减灾演练。
